Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 owns a 10.1-inch screen, 9.8 mm thin, running Windows 8 Pro, will be sold at the same time with the Microsoft Surface tablet.
Lenovo has officially introduced tablet PCs running Windows 8 by the firm, named ThinkPad Tablet 2. It has a fairly modern design, with square edges inspired by the popular ThinkPad laptop line, 9.8 mm thick and slightly lighter than Apple's iPad.

Equipped with 10.1-inch screen, resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, expected battery life of 10 hours. The standard of this product will only own Wi-Fi connection, however, the version sold by the U.S. carriers will likely have LTE 4G connectivity.
When connected to dock the keyboard, the ThinkPad Tablet 2 is capable to transform into a small notebook. Dock its keyboard design is very similar to the keyboard on its ultrabook lines. Pen input mechanisms of the induction machine works quite well, using applications available on Windows Store.
Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 is likely to shelves in October this year, about the time Windows 8 is released. Price of the product have not been disclosed.
